I have been a patient of Dr Ahmed for over 15 years. He is very knowledgeable and a trusted doctor in my eyes. A Phychiatrist deals with medication management. where as a psychologist deals with emotional and mental management. If you are looking to have your medications perscribe properly and managed you seek a doctor with his credentials. I reccomend Dr Ahmed to anyone seeking this type of service.
Dr. Davis Short is a great therapist that I've been seeing for several months now. It has definitely helped me. However, I would not recommend seeing Cindy Cunningham for psych meds of any kind. She is not a psychiatrist, just a nurse practitioner & does not know much about medicine. Appointments with her are always later than the time scheduled, so you wait at least 15 mins before going back & then she asks the same questions every time as if she's never met you or listened to anything you've said in previous appointments. But as I said, the counseling/therapy is very helpful.
Nicest person you'll ever meet!!!!
