It used to be a lot better facility! Most of the counselors are great, but a few of them seem like they're getting too old for the job and are overwhelmed by the sheer number of clients, who might I add suffer because of this, because they end up not getting the counseling or support they need not to mention a person who has a bad attitude and not helpful in the slightest once it comes to what your seeing them for (getting clean!) The BIGGEST problem of all with this particular facility is the doctor situation! That's exactly what it is a situation! Please! Bring back doctor Bowman! We need a doctor who knows what they're talking about and who cares about the clients! The women doctor temp. filling in at this facility right now is horrible! She is rude, unprofessional, and doesn't seem to have the slightest clue about addiction! I think she's either in the wrong field or country all together! I have never in my life went to a doctors visit and the doctor proceeded to eat their lunch while we were having are visit. N then she made a prognosis and determined my medication should be increased by 5 mg. but when I left her office on my way out the door I mumbled a smart comment under my breath which I was subsequently put on a behavioral contract for. I guess she didn't consider that punishment enough so after she had already made a prognosis that I needed to go up 5mg. she changed it to continue on the same dose after the fact! So as I said a great staff EXCEPT for their current woman doctor!
